Our onsite team comprises highly trained physical therapists, rehabilitation aides, and administrative staff who work together empathetically and collaboratively to ensure that each patient's treatment plan is effectively executed. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, with shifts from either 9 AM to 5 PM or 8 AM to 4 PM.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough evaluations and assessments for patients with orthopedic conditions, tailoring individualized treatment plans that incorporate a range of therapeutic techniques.Implement treatments such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities like ultrasound and electrical stimulation to improve patient mobility and alleviate pain.Educate patients and their families regarding rehabilitation processes, exercises, and preventative measures to promote long-term health and recovery.Document patient progress meticulously in electronic health records to comply with regulatory standards and support continuity of care.Mentor physical therapy interns and support their clinical training by providing insightful feedback and guidance.Initiate clinical research initiatives with the support of management, focusing on efficacy studies and treatment advancements within orthopedic therapy.Patient Population / Client FocusOur patient population includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions. As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in assisting adolescent athletes, adult patients, and seniors alike, facilitating their return to an active and functional lifestyle. Your work directly impacts patient outcomes by enhancing mobility, strength, and overall wellness, tailored to each patient's specific needs.QualificationsMust hold an accredited Master's Degree in Physical Therapy.Possession of a valid New York State Physical Therapy license is mandatory.A minimum of 2 years of experience working in an orthopedic setting is required.Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.Exceptional assessment and clinical reasoning skills to design and adjust treatment plans appropriately.Preferred ExperienceBoard certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy is highly preferred.Experience in outpatient physical therapy with a demonstrated ability to handle caseloads effectively.Proficiency with electronic health record systems and rehabilitation software to enhance patient care management.Compensation and BenefitsAlong with a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, our organization provides a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your health and well-being.
