What You Will Learn and Do

Master Treatment Presentations: Learn to explain treatment plans in a clear, patient-friendly manner, ensuring every individual understands their oral health needs and the value of the recommended care.

Financial Coordination & Education: Develop the confidence to discuss dental insurance coverage, out-of-pocket costs, and diverse financing solutions, helping patients navigate financial decisions with ease.

Case Acceptance Strategy: Follow up with patients regarding pending treatment, overcome hesitation, and utilize effective communication techniques to increase case acceptance rates.

Schedule Optimization: Coordinate and schedule complex treatment sequences to maximize provider efficiency while prioritizing patient convenience and workflow smoothness.

Collaborative Patient Flow: Partner with clinical and front office teams to ensure accurate documentation, seamless transitions between appointments, and consistent patient communication.

Record Management: Maintain precise patient records and treatment notes in practice management software (e.g., Dentrix Ascend), ensuring compliance and data accuracy.

Requirements:

Education & Qualifications

Required:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Strong verbal communication, ability to confidently close treatment acceptance, and a track record of excellent customer service.

Organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Preferred:

Previous dental experience in a Treatment Coordinator, Front Desk, or similar role.

Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and insurance processes.

Experience with dental practice management software such as Dentrix Ascend.

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly Rate: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour (based on experience)
