On Call/Part Time - Service Associate - VA

Overview On Call / Part Time Receptionist/Service Associate- TN (PT) This is a part‑time direct‑hire position. The Receptionist/Office Services Associate will work closely with Facilities, Executive Administrative Staff, and Property Management to ensure that all daily operational, maintenance, and janitorial tasks are taken care of to maintain the value and appearance of the office. A business‑professional dress code applies. The successful candidate must be willing to cross‑train for potential advancement opportunities. Compensation: The approximate hourly rate is $15.00–$16.00, based on experience and qualifications. Location: Memphis, TN Hours: Varies – Monday through Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Pickup, sort, and deliver mail; sign and account for overnight mail deliveries and ensure delivery to the recipient. Front desk reception coverage including answering phones and directing calls. Set up and break down meeting rooms. General housekeeping of all conference rooms. Kitchen supply management (ordering and restocking supplies). Internal building move coordination. Respond to, coordinate, and submit building‑related issues with property management or outside contractors. Perform other tasks as assigned. Qualifications To be considered for this position, you must meet the following qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (GED); college degree is a plus and may allow a fast‑track plan to management. Keyboarding and Windows PC skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in MS‑Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint required). Ability to work effectively individually or in a team environment. Competency in performing multiple functional tasks and willingness to cross‑train for other job functions. Capable of lifting up to 55 pounds; reliable transportation. Experience in reception/office services is a plus.
