The company has a team of experienced engineers and technicians who are available to help with any problems that may arise.The Senior Production & Material Planner is responsible for end-to-end planning and coordination of production and material flow in an Engineer-to-Order (ETO) manufacturing environment. This role is focused primarily on production planning and supporting material planning, ensuring alignment between project schedules, capacity, and material availability. The position requires strong expertise in SAP and advanced Excel, and plays a key role in driving schedule adherence, managing risks, and ensuring on-time delivery through cross-functional coordination.Main Responsibilities:Develop, maintain, and optimize detailed production schedules aligned with project milestones and customer commitmentsDefine and manage production priorities and sequencing based on business needs and material availabilityAnalyze capacity constraints, bottlenecks, and workload balancing across work centersMonitor schedule adherence and implement corrective actions to mitigate delaysCoordinate and lead daily/weekly production planning meetingsPublish and communicate production schedules and updates to cross-functional teamsPartner with Production leadership to align execution with planning prioritiesSupport material availability to support production schedules and project timelinesMonitor and manage material shortages, backlog, and critical componentsTrack and follow up on supplier commitments and delivery performanceCollaborate with Purchasing to expedite materials and resolve supply issuesCoordinate material flow and readiness to the production floorMaintain and ensure accuracy of SAP planning data (production orders, lead times, MRP settings, master data)Act as a key SAP user (PP/MM) for planning execution and data integrityGenerate and manage production and material planning reportsUtilize advanced Excel for data analysis, scenario planning, and reportingIdentify and resolve data inconsistencies impacting planning accuracyAct as a central point of coordination between Production, Engineering, Procurement, and Supply ChainAlign engineering changes (ECOs) with material readiness and production schedulesCommunicate risks, constraints, and recovery plans clearly to stakeholdersSupport decision-making with Production and Supply Chain leadershipLead and support continuous improvement initiatives in planning processesContribute to standardization and optimization of planning practicesRequired Qualifications:5+ years of experience in production planning, material planning, or supply planningStrong experience in Engineer-to-Order (ETO) or project-based manufacturingAdvanced proficiency in SAP (PP/MM required)Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (mandatory)Solid understanding of production scheduling, capacity planning, material requirements planning (MRP) and inventory management principles.Experience managing complex, cross-functional planning environmentsStrong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skillsAbility to operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentFluent in EnglishPreferred Qualifications:Experience in power electronics, industrial equipment, or complex electromechanical manufacturingExperience with long lead-time suppliers and global supply chainsExposure to data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)APICS (CPIM) or similarExperience supporting process improvement or digitalization initiativesPersonal attributes: Highly organized and detail-oriented, proactive and solution-driven mindset, effective communicator and team player, ability to prioritize and adapt to changing demands, results-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.Position Type: This is a full-time, salaried/exempt position.
