Accounting Manager

Accounting ManagerWe are looking for a pro-active accounting leader to join our accounting team. The position is responsible for portions of the monthly close process, balance sheet reconciliations, general accounting and reporting functions, and actively managing and fulfilling cross functional team requests. Will work closely with the Senior Accounting Manager and Corporate Controller on policies, practices and reporting for the function.Responsibilities Include:Monthly close processEnsuring compliance with company internal controls and policiesReconciliation of intercompany transactions & balancesMonthly operating variance analysisFulfillment of external and internal financial audit and tax requestsGeneral Ledger account reconciliationsCustomer and vendor rebate accruals and trackingFixed Asset MaintenanceRecording of daily banking activity and monthly reconciliationsProactive facilitation of process improvements and problem solvingSupervise, develop and provide feedback to direct reportsAdditional duties or special projects as assigned.The Ideal Candidate Will Have:BA/BS Degree in Accounting, CPA PreferredMinimum of 5 years of experience in progressively advancing accounting roles.Experience in distribution environmentAdvanced Microsoft Excel Skills.Strong interpersonal communication skillsAbility to multi-task with attention to detail.Financial Statement preparation experience required.Effective, efficient functioning in fast paced environmentExperience in supervising teamsAbility to physically sit at a desk for long periods, operate a computer, and listen/speak clearly on the phone and in-person.Compensation & Benefits:BradyPLUS offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package to support the health and well-being of our associates and their families.
