Accounts Receivable SpecialistAVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to fill the role of Accounts Receivable Specialist at our Headquarter location in Warren, OH. Providing comprehensive food services with a focus on the highest quality and freshest ingredients, impeccable service and total value is the reputation we have earned and live up to everyday.Duties & Responsibilities:Thoroughly analyze and investigate documents submitted by field managers for accuracy and omissionsWork closely with field personnel to ensure timely and accurate reportingResolve paperwork and reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system balancesPrepare, verify, process and code invoices and documentsPrepare batches of invoices for data entryEnter invoices for paymentCreate and distribute monthly account statementsProvide financial analysis supportParticipate in month-end closing processMaintain Accounts Receivable customer files and recordsAssist as required on special assignments and projectsContribute to a team effort by accomplishing set goals and objectivesRequirements:Ability to work under deadlines with an exceptional attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExtensive computer skills and proficiency in Excel & other Microsoft Office applicationsExperience in an accounting position is a plusExperience with accounting software such as Great Plains, MAS500, and Access is a plusCustomer Service focusStrong analytical & organizational skillsAbility to meet strict deadlines and to work well under pressureAbility to communicate effectively with the field and internal Headquarters departmentsAbility to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work extra hours if needed on assignmentsBenefits:A family culture and atmosphereCompetitive compensationHealth, dental, vision, and life insurance for full-time team members401(k) with generous company matchPaid vacations and holidaysImmense training and growth opportunitiesWe conduct pre-employment drug testing.
