About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PCU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1.5 years preferred License: Any active state RN license or compact license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - EPIC experience - Stable chronic ventilator experience - Online EKG tele competency assessment Description: This is a winter job opportunity for a 13-week contract. The ideal candidate must be available to work a minimum of every other holiday. Targeted patient ratios are between 1:4, but they can be up to 1:5-6. Candidates must have experience with stable chronic ventilators. BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required. IV start experience is preferred. Travel experience is desired. The traveler will be expected to float at the discretion of the management. In case of low census, shifts may be canceled. The traveler is required to work every other weekend and holiday. Requests for time off must be submitted with the initial application; no additional requests will be accepted after the offer is made. Candidates must demonstrate comfort with floating based on their skills and the needs of the unit. Any previous candidates must wait six months before applying as travelers.
