Operations Lead

Peoplelink Staffing Solutions , in partnership with a prominent electronics company in the New Albany, IN area , is seeking an experienced Operations Leader to join their team. This position offers stable hours, competitive pay, and access to a strong benefits package.

Shift: 8am-4:30pm + OT; Saturdays as called
Pay: $55,000 - $60,000

• Monitor operational performance vs SLAs to be proactive in managing the relationship with existing clients.
• Organize and manage the structure and workflow of repair operation delivering finished products in line with customer expected turnaround time and quality standards.
• Oversee the production process, drawing up a production schedule.
• Review and develop operational process flows.
• Manpower development to achieve schedule targets.
• Manage contractual KPI's and achieve financial KPI's associated to the account.
• Manage Team Leaders to ensure scheduled targets and expected performances are achieved. Plan, co-ordinate and allocate duties properly within the team to run smooth operation.
• Manage productivity ensuring that daily production targets are achieved within allocated timescale and resources.
• Lead improvement structure and drive operational experience and excellence into the account.
• Analyse tracking and measurement data to provide improvements to overall process efficiency. Take necessary action to avoid delays in production and non-conformities for quality objectives.
• Ensure planned production and quality KPI's are met or exceeded.
• Ensure implementation and evolution of safety, security and best practices standards.
• Implement and drive continuous improvement activities through implementation of change management processes and staff skill improvements.
• Optimize resource utilisation by implementation of an effective production organisation.
• Hold regular team meetings to discuss performance of operation KPIs and to communicate any other matters.
• Liaise with relevant managers from other departments to ensure availability of trained staff, necessary tools, and stocks.
• Support Quality team and Service delivery management to resolve client/customer complaints.
• Support improvement measures requested arising from internal or client audits, or through routine QA investigations.
• Support Finance department with appropriate information regarding activity, invoices and overdue payments.
• Ensure security of the resources and stock associated to the accounts.
• Organize and manage the workflow for reception, login, logout and shipment.
• Coordinate efficiently operation of the warehouse.
• Manage Logistics team to effectively deliver operation targets maintaining expected performances.
• Handle customer complaints and discrepancies to eventual resolution.
• Coordinate deliveries with carriers to ensure KPIs can be achieved.
• Ensure all staffs are adequately trained and follow properly the standard operating procedures and safe work practices.
• Continuously monitor the performance and activities of the warehouse through the use of KPIs with focus on delivery time, mistake avoidance and cost controls.
