Sterile Processing TechThe Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for the cleaning, processing, and sterilization of surgical instruments and medical equipment. The technician will ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and is safe for patient use. Responsibilities include the assembly of instrument trays and proper selection of wrapping materials. Candidates must be familiar with biological and chemical indicators as well as high-level disinfection procedures. Experience in neuro and orthopedic instrumentation is preferred. Candidates must be able to operate washers and sterilizers effectively. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential in this role. Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities as needed.
