About the Role
The Company is in search of a VP of Construction and COO to play a key role in driving the company's strategic goals and upholding its reputation for delivering high-quality construction projects. The successful candidate will be tasked with overseeing the entire construction project lifecycle, from planning to completion, and will be responsible for developing and executing business strategies to meet both short and long-term objectives. A strong focus on quality control, financial performance, and growth is essential, as is the ability to lead and motivate teams to ensure the highest standards are consistently met. The role also involves partnering with the president to execute the company's strategy, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance, and driving sustainability efforts in environmental and landscape construction. Applicants for this pivotal role at the company should have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior management position within the construction industry, with a proven track record in managing large and complex projects. A deep understanding of commercial construction processes, particularly in the areas of environmental and landscape construction, is required. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, advanced problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to ethical business conduct. Proficiency in construction software programs, excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills, and the ability to make sound decisions based on a variety of factors are also necessary.
