AVEVA is creating software trusted by over 90% of leading industrial companies.Salary Range:$92,300.00 - $153,900.00This pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation that the position offers, and final compensation can vary within the range depending on work location, job experience, skills, and relevant educational attainment and/or training.Position: Software DeveloperQualifications: Experience designing and developing in C#/.NET frameworkEmployment type: Full-time regularLocation: Philadelphia, PA – HybridAs a ​Software Developer, your responsibilities will include: Recognizing, articulating, and making technical decisions / trade-offs around multiple dimensions (scaling, reliability, performance, maintenance, etc.) that have an impact on your teamDesigning, developing, testing, and debugging software applicationsDelivering software on-time and constantly work to make accurate estimates and deliver on those estimatesProviding technical support of products including direct customer support and escalated issuesDocumenting product behavior and implementation detailsCollaborating with team members on how to approach and prioritize development effortsUnderstanding and proactively following team processes, documentation, best practices, and code style guidesGiving insightful feedback on pull requests, engineering designs, and featuresExpanding your working knowledge of your respective technical domainActing as a technical mentor for more junior developersQualification:A Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree or PhD in Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering; Computer Science; Math; Physics or a related field​3+ years of Software product or application development experienceGood experience with developing software in major programming languages such as: C++, C#/.NET, JavaScript, etc.Familiarity with software design patterns (objected oriented design), Computer Science fundamentals/principles and methodologies, as well as knowledge of operating system internalsSharp debugging and problem-solving skillsThe ability to clearly communicate complex ideas both verbally and in written formAn eagerness to accept and expand upon skills and knowledge based on feedbackSomeone who seeks advice on how to approach and prioritize development effortsA self-motivated person with a knack for time managementWhether you now or at any point in the future require sponsorship or work authorization for employment visa status (e.g. not exclusive to H-1B.
