Pool and Beach Supervisor

Job Overview Attend to guests in the pool and beach area, courteously and efficiently, delivering alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages, retrieving and delivering food orders, and maintaining cleanliness and organization of pool and cabana areas. Duties and Responsibilities Maintain complete knowledge of, and comply with, all departmental policies, service procedures, and standards. Maintain complete knowledge and correct use of all equipment, using them only as intended. Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction. Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas. Be familiar with all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately. Know lounge & cabana numbers, room capacity, hours of operation, proper table set‑up, and dress code of the pool & beach. Know all liquor brands, beers, non‑alcoholic selections, correct glassware, and garnishes offered at the pool & beach. Know every food and beverage item on the pool & beach menu, including descriptions, prices, preparation methods, major ingredients, quality standards, taste, appearance, texture, serving temperature, garnish, and presentation. Strictly abide by state liquor regulations, including prohibitions on service to minors, intoxicated persons, and driving under influence. Complete opening and closing side duties as assigned. Guide and coordinate assigned servers, attendants, and food runners to ensure optimum service. Attend to all guest needs and requests in a timely and professional manner. Maintain pool and beach policies and procedures, ensuring professional standards of operations. Maintain adequate inventory of all necessary pool and beach supplies and equipment. Provide exceptional guest service. Clean and upkeep cabana bar and pool area. Ensure guest safety by enforcing all rules. Facilitate daily activities. Train seasonal staff members and ensure impeccable service from all. Obtain and serve refreshments to guests as requested. Organize assigned functions and complete preparation work in accordance with departmental standards, following up on special arrangements. Verify that assigned staff report to work, documenting any late or absent employees. Coordinate breaks for assigned staff. Inspect grooming and attire of staff, rectifying any deficiencies. Assist pool and beach staff with their job functions to ensure optimum service. Ensure all closing duties for staff are completed prior to sign‑out; provide feedback on performance. Work without direct supervision. Develop a positive working relationship with all hotel departments to facilitate a team‑oriented atmosphere. Regularly communicate with the pool and beach management regarding departmental matters. Continuously review operations and make recommendations to enhance service. #J-18808-Ljbffr Faena Group
