Research Associate, Process Development

Research Associate supporting process development for oligonucleotide therapeutics at Agilent Technologies in Boulder, Colorado. Role involves designing and executing synthetic routes, purification methods, and scale-up activities to produce active pharmaceutical ingredients from milligram to kilogram quantities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement synthetic routes and analytical methods for oligonucleotide process components
• Execute process development experiments, document results, and prepare technical reports and CMC submissions
• Apply chemistry and separations expertise to optimize processes and support scale-up to GMP manufacturing
• Design and conduct Design of Experiments and Proven Acceptable Range studies to establish process design space
• Review emerging analytical and synthesis trends and establish professional networks in the field

Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or University degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or related science
• Minimum 2 years pharmaceutical industry experience or equivalent education/experience combination
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively on time-sensitive projects
• Strong math, documentation, communication, and troubleshooting skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft products, computer systems, and laboratory procedures
• Knowledge of oligonucleotide synthesis, purification, ultrafiltration, conjugation, or lyophilization preferred

Compensation: $76,080–$118,875/yr plus bonus, stock, and benefits
