Job Description Division Chief - Nephrology Opening in Cooperstown, NY Post-fellowship practice experience required Position Details: Full-time, permanent Hospital employed Seeking a full-time board-certified Nephrologist Division Chief - Nephrology - Cooperstown, NY Medical Director stipends range from $55,000 to $85,000 Sign-on-Bonus up to $100k Join and lead an established group of 4 Nephrologists and 2 Nurse Practitioners 100% Nephrology Practice 60% outpatient clinic and hospital responsibilities 40% regional travel to clinics and dialysis centers Potential for Medical Directorship of dialysis units The call is typically 9 10 weeks per year Monday 8 AM Monday 8 AM. 30-50 follow-up dialysis patients 10-30 follow-up transplant patients Potential for faculty appointment from Columbia Daily interaction with medical students as well as Internal Medicine and Transitional residents. EMR-EPIC/INFIAN Salary Range: $397,500 - $433,000. This compensation range represents the group's good faith belief in the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards. The group offers physicians an incentive plan with no earnings cap. Individual performance and productivity can significantly enhance compensation with potential upside realized within the first year of employment.
