Job Title Staff Accountant Salary $70,000 - $85,000 Location Boston, MA Why This Opportunity Stands Out Gain hands-on experience in a high-growth SaaS business model Strong exposure to month-end close, revenue recognition, and SaaS metrics Work with modern accounting systems and scalable processes High visibility with leadership in a collaborative, lean team Opportunity to build and improve processes as the company scales Career growth into Senior Accountant and beyond Hybrid/remote flexibility depending on company structure Exposure to cross-functional teams including FP&A and operations Stable industry with strong long-term demand Opportunity to learn best practices in ASC 606 and subscription billing Key Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant Assist with month-end and year-end close processes Prepare and post journal entries, account reconciliations Support revenue recognition (ASC 606) and deferred revenue schedules Maintain general ledger accuracy and resolve discrepancies Assist with audits and financial reporting preparation Qualifications for the Staff Accountant Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field 1–3+ years of accounting experience (SaaS or tech a plus) Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) Understanding of GAAP and basic revenue recognition concepts #J-18808-Ljbffr
