Senior Application Engineer

To support the municipal business, the full-time Senior Municipal Applications Engineer will leverage expertise in pumps and municipal water/wastewater systems to assist with pump selections, develop proposals, and provide technical support to distributors and customers, with the potential for remote work. Key responsibilities Review customer specifications and prepare comprehensive proposals for pump configurations Select optimal centrifugal pump configurations using proprietary software tools and manage orders from quote to delivery Provide technical support to distributors and customers, building strong relationships and participating in sales calls Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Distribution, or a related technical field 10+ years of experience with rotating equipment, preferably centrifugal pumps Familiarity with generating technical quotations and processing customer orders Knowledge of municipal water and wastewater systems and the typical municipal tender process is preferred Proficiency with MS Office and pump selection software
