Research Associate Co-Op, In Vivo Pharmacology (Neuromuscular Team)

Keros Therapeutics seeks a motivated research associate co-op for a 6-month position supporting in vivo pharmacology studies on neuromuscular diseases. The role involves conducting animal model studies, performing molecular biology techniques on tissue samples, and maintaining detailed lab records while working within a cross-functional research team.
Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting in vivo studies using animal models of neuromuscular diseases
- Perform ex vivo molecular biology techniques including tissue sectioning, histological analysis, and qPCR
- Execute behavioral testing and protein analysis on mouse tissue samples
- Maintain accurate laboratory records and contribute to study reports and team meetings
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in Bachelor's or Master's degree in biology, neuroscience, animal science, or related field
- Willingness to learn rodent handling and dosing techniques
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with supervision
- Strong communication, organization, and data presentation skills
- Demonstrates maturity, integrity, and curiosity-driven scientific thinking
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data visualization
Compensation: $28–$32 USD hourly
