Schedule: Monday– Friday | 8: 00 AM – 5: 00 PM We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Assistant to support Manufacturing Operations during a critical transition period. This role plays a key part in coordinating production planning, ensuring material readiness, and supporting internal material flow to keep operations running smoothly. Key Responsibilities Support production planning through Manufacturing Order coordination and updates Track materials, kits, and components to ensure timely delivery to production Assist in improving visibility into manufacturing cycle times through detailed order tracking Collaborate with planning, purchasing, inventory, and production teams to resolve material issues Monitor material readiness and escalation risks impacting schedules or deliveries Maintain and update spreadsheets, reports, and planning data Provide day-to-day administrative and coordination support to planning teams Assist with process improvements related to material flow and planning Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing support, planning, material coordination, or purchasing Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and material flow Experience with ERP or manufacturing systems preferred Proficient in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment Effective communication and teamwork skills Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting production or material planners Familiarity with manufacturing orders, kits, and routings Background in aerospace, defense, or regulated manufacturing environments Experience supporting process improvements or organizational transitions #J-18808-Ljbffr AtWork Group
