Junior Buyer
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Buyer to support Manufacturing Operations during a critical transition period. This role plays a key part in coordinating production planning, ensuring material readiness, and supporting internal material flow to keep operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support production planning through Manufacturing Order coordination and updates
• Track materials, kits, and components to ensure timely delivery to production
• Assist in improving visibility into manufacturing cycle times through detailed order tracking
• Collaborate with planning, purchasing, inventory, and production teams to resolve material issues
• Monitor material readiness and escalate risks impacting schedules or deliveries
• Maintain and update spreadsheets, reports, and planning data
• Provide day-to-day administrative and coordination support to planning teams
• Assist with process improvements related to material flow and planning

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing support, planning, material coordination, or purchasing
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and material flow
• Experience with ERP or manufacturing systems preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
• Effective communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting production or material planners
• Familiarity with manufacturing orders, kits, and routings
• Background in aerospace, defense, or regulated manufacturing environments
• Experience supporting process improvements or organizational transitions
