What You'll Do

• Conduct daily newborn rounds in a new Level I nursery with an expected census of approx. 5 infants
• Attend and assist with deliveries as requested
• Stabilize and manage newborns requiring higher-level care, and facilitate emergency transports to regional NICUs in Charlotte or Gastonia
• Collaborate with a dedicated team of 4 NNPs and neonatologists
• Participate in supplemental shifts at the nearby Level III NICU (optional)
• Play a leadership role in neonatal care, ensuring quality and safety in a new facility

What You Need

• Current, valid NNP Board Certification (no substitutes accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of current NNP experience (excluding RN background)
• Excellent neonatal assessment and stabilization skills
• Strong communication and team collaboration abilities

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new, state-of-the-art Neonatal Nursery at CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Belmont, NC. The facility will serve approximately 600 deliveries annually, providing a fulfilling environment for experienced NNPs to lead and grow.
