As a Security Guard Driving Patrol in Los Angeles CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic education location where you will conduct routine patrols remain visible to help deter security-related incidents and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to students faculty staff and visitors by following site-specific procedures access guidelines and other security-related protocols appropriate to an educational location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and communicate with campus contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings walkways parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances common areas and campus grounds for policy violations maintenance concerns and other security-related issues and report observations according to post procedures.
• Support a respectful campus environment by assisting with directions information requests and routine security-related interactions while maintaining detailed activity and incident reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
