About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director of Advancement to lead the strategic and operational aspects of philanthropy and community engagement. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive advancement strategy that aligns with the institution's vision and supports its long-term priorities. This role involves serving as a central figure in shaping the philanthropic narrative, building and leading a high-performing advancement team, and personally engaging in the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of major donors. The Executive Director will also be tasked with overseeing the annual giving program, strengthening alumni relations, and preparing the institution for future philanthropic opportunities. Applicants for the Executive Director of Advancement position at the company should have significant leadership experience in advancement or development, with a proven track record in securing major and leadership gifts. The role requires the ability to design and implement comprehensive advancement strategies, as well as the experience in building and leading high-performing teams. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and storytelling skills, be adept at relationship building, and have a strong understanding of advancement CRM platforms.
