Assistant Property Manager for Commercial Real Estate

$20 per hour

Our client, a leading organization in property management, is seeking a dedicated Assistant Property Manager 1 to join their team. As an Assistant Property Manager 1, you will be part of the property management department supporting the property operations team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Assistant Property Manager 1

Location: Carmel, IN

Pay Range: $20

Shift: Monday - Friday 8 am - 4:30 pm

What's the Job?

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support, including managing phone inquiries, typing reports, and handling correspondence distribution.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings and special events to ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor and maintain the property maintenance work order system and prepare monthly reports for Property Manager on status of tenant work orders
  • Assist in lease administration activities, including tenant contacts and insurance documentation, and generate relevant reports.
  • Prepare and coordinate bid proposals, service contracts, and invoices, supporting compliance with company policies.
  • Maintain and track property maintenance work orders, contracts, and insurance certificates, ensuring timely follow-up and renewal reminders.

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or GED; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Must have prior fast-paced office experience
  • Customer service experience is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to follow directions and communicate professionally with decision-makers.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage various responsibilities efficiently.
