Broadridge is hiring! We are seeking Account Executives to work in our Emerging Segment, a newly formed segment in the Global Sales Marketing and Solutions Enterprise. In this position you will report to an Emerging Markets segment leader.
We are looking for results-driven sales professionals with consultative sales experience and/or the ability to service clients, prospect within complex sales cycle environment and develop client and internal relationships. The role will have direct quota responsibility and contribute directly to Broadridge's growth objectives and annual sales plan attainment.
An ideal candidate has experience in SaaS sales to sell-side and/or buy-side financial institutions, including banks and broker/dealers, asset managers, RIAs etc. You will be part of a highly collaborative team in delivering these solutions that include Sales, Product Specialists, Sales Engineers, and Service teams. Our team is comprised of diligent and ambitious self-starters focused on direct sales and building the Broadridge brand across all facets of financial services. Through organic and acquisitive growth, you will continue to have new solutions and technologies to learn about and bring to market. Your ability to originate sales and build strong relationships with prospects via cold calling, in person meetings, conference attendance, etc. is critical.
Responsibilities:
- You have an aptitude for success in achieving/exceeding sales goals/ in selling software to banks, broker/dealers, asset managers, hedge funds and/or private credit firms.
- Can build and execute account-based sales strategies, collaborating with internal teams to drive deals to closure consistently and effectively.
- Have strong project management and communication skills to lead the sales process from origination through to closing including qualification, executive presentations, business case/ROI development, proposal, and contract negotiations.
- Diligently track, update, manage and accurately forecast net new sales in CRM.
- Effectively and consistently build and manage a strong sales pipeline, at least three times the assigned quota, to ensure quarterly and annual sales attainment
- Validate product and solution fit with the scope of prospect's business strategy and needs; and engage appropriate internal resources where and how necessary to position Broadridge services and advance sales cycle to closure.
- Maintain strong product knowledge of the full Broadridge product and solutions suite and relative competitive offerings.
- Fully understand prospect's technology stack, buying process and stakeholder engagement (org chart and powerbase) to accurately align selling/buying process, identify and develop relationships with stakeholders and manage multiple constituents.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree a plus
- Minimum 1-2 years of post-college work experience, ideally with quota responsibility and proven history of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Ability to build, foster and maintain key strategic relationships within prospective accounts
- Ability to work within a collaborative sales environment to achieve results
- Working financial services industry knowledge
- Excellent project management, relationship management, communication, presentation, and contract negotiation skills
- Self-starter with attention to detail and strong time and territory management skills
Compensation Range: The salary range for this position is between $100,000.00- $130,000.00 USD + Commissions and bonus eligibility.
