As an unarmed patrol professional in a retail and mall setting, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for shoppers, tenants, and visitors. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 09:30 PM - 05:30 AM Fri 09:30 PM - 05:30 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random foot or vehicle patrols throughout the retail location, including common areas, storefronts, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity. Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Assist with access control, visitor interactions, and directions while maintaining a professional presence in a customer-focused retail environment. Minimum Requirements: Possession of a state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
