You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication to visitors, staff, and court personnel. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Pre-Employment Requirement: 21+ Years of Age (C101) What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, court personnel, attorneys, and/or members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies. Conduct regular and random patrols of courthouse grounds, entrances, public areas, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions. Monitor access points and assist with directing visitors in accordance with established entry procedures and posted requirements. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed. Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs related to patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: Access control/badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. A guard card/license is preferred. CPR/First Aid is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
