Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, your key responsibilities will include:

• Participating in and contributing to both group and individual supervision sessions to ensure consistent professional development and clinical guidance.

• Collaborating with the Oregon Health Authority to provide accurate enrollment and discharge data pertaining to clients in problem gambling treatment programs.
\n
• Engaging in joint case planning and coordination with community agencies, including schools, group homes, law enforcement, the judicial system, and healthcare facilities to secure integrated support for clients.
\n
• Delivering education on behavioral health and addiction to various stakeholders, enhancing community awareness and preventative practices.
\n
• Attending trainings and conferences to keep abreast of industry standards and practices, utilizing insights gained to enhance both agency operations and client outcomes.
\n
• Developing and implementing a Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement plan for the agency, including necessary policies and procedures aimed at optimizing service delivery.

• Taking on additional responsibilities as assigned, adjusting positively to the needs of the organization and its clientele.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with an adult population facing a variety of mental health challenges. This includes individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and other co-occurring conditions. You will have the opportunity to create personalized treatment plans that address the complex needs of your clients and significantly improve their quality of life.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must hold a relevant degree from a nationally accredited institution, fulfilling licensure requirements for the state of Oregon or Washington. Specifically, ideal qualifications include:

• Doctorate in Psychology (PsyD or PhD), Master of Social Work, Master in Professional Counseling, or Master of Family Therapy.

• A valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the respective state of practice.

Preferred Experience\n

Candidates should ideally possess a minimum of three years of relevant professional experience in mental health counseling or therapy. Prior experience working in outpatient settings, knowledge of community resources, and a strong background in behavioral health education are highly valued.
