Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated perioperative nursing care from pre-op through post-anesthesia recovery according to established standards and the nursing process
- Monitor patient status, interpret data, administer interventions, and document findings accurately
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, circulating staff, and other team members to plan and execute safe care
- Maintain strict infection control and sterile technique, ensuring equipment and environment meet safety standards
- Contribute to discharge planning and patient/family education to support continuity of care
- Delegate appropriately, supervise assigned nursing staff, and use clinical judgment to prioritize patient needs

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice (California)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification from an approved vendor per policy
- Minimum two years of recent nursing experience; acute care facility experience preferred
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Ability to work in a surgical/OR setting and fulfill on-call requirements; ability to participate in discharge planning and collaborate with the care team
- Candidates must meet health and credentialing requirements as part of the assignment process
