Overview
Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR) travel assignment in Lodi, California. Responsibilities
- Deliver perioperative nursing care for adult surgical patients, aligned with established standards and the nursing process
- Assist the surgical team intraoperatively and coordinate care with anesthesia and other disciplines
- Monitor patient status, manage sterile technique, and ensure patient safety throughout preoperative, intraoperative, and immediate postoperative phases
- Assess data, develop and implement a plan of care, and document accurately
- Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams; provide education and post-operative discharge planning
- Delegate appropriately and supervise assigned nursing staff as needed

Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice (California or equivalent)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; CPR may be required per policy
- Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience; OR experience preferred
- BSN preferred; other nursing education as appropriate
- Ability to work in an operating room setting with appropriate perioperative skills
- Availability to participate in Day Shift with on-call responsibilities as described
