Role Overview As a Business Insurance Client Manager, you will serve as a key partner to Advisors, Carriers, and Clients by managing the ongoing service and support of a book of commercial insurance business. You’ll play a critical role in onboarding new clients, supporting renewals, managing the entirety of an account hitting on deliverables set forth, and ensuring a seamless client experience from start to finish. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, pride in your work, and a genuine desire to help business owners navigate the often-complex world of business insurance. You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams while acting as a trusted point of contact for client service needs. What YOU are good at Building strong, professional relationships with clients, carriers and internal team members Communicating clearly and confidently via phone, email, and written documentation Managing multiple priorities while staying organized and detail-oriented Taking ownership of client needs and resolving issues efficiently and empathetically Reviewing and processing policies against binders and proposals after placement Handling certificates of insurance, endorsements, audits, and other policy servicing tasks Reviewing insurance requirements and confidently ensure current policy language supports clients signed contracts, detailing where need for coverage is. Answering questions related to billing, coverage, and policy changes Escalating and triaging complex issues in collaboration with Advisors and Client Support teams Managing a small book of business, serviced through carrier service centers Sharing workload collaboratively across a service team and supporting team success Maintaining patience, positivity, and professionalism in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools and familiarity with agency systems (e.g., Epic) What WE are good at Taking full ownership of our accounts, proactively managing client needs from start to finish with attention to detail and follow-through. Demonstrate strong knowledge of commercial insurance coverages and continuously seek to grow our expertise.
