Associate System Administrator Vista, CA IT $90,000 - $105,000 / year

Position Overview EasyPay Finance is seeking an Associate Systems Administrator to join our Information Technology team at our Vista, California headquarters. In this hands‑on, on‑site role, you will support and maintain the systems, devices, and cloud services that keep our organization running; from identity and endpoint management to network, telephony, and day‑to‑day desktop support. You will work directly with employees across the company, resolving issues quickly while helping us manage our IT environment proactively rather than reactively. Key Responsibilities Identity & Access Management Administer user accounts, groups, and permissions in Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) Support Single Sign-On (SSO) application configuration and troubleshooting Assist with SCIM provisioning setup and user lifecycle automation Endpoint Management Manage and troubleshoot Windows devices via Microsoft Intune Manage and troubleshoot Mac and iOS devices via Jamf Perform desktop and laptop hardware diagnostics, repair, and replacement Support mobile device management (MDM) policies across platforms Network Support Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, including DNS and DHCP Assist with firewall administration and troubleshooting (Sophos, SonicWall, Fortinet, or similar) Support switch configuration and basic network troubleshooting Assist with VPN client issues for remote users Cloud Infrastructure Support and maintain Azure virtual machines and related cloud infrastructure Assist with Microsoft 365 administration (Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint) Build and maintain basic Power Automate workflows Telephony Support cloud‑based phone systems (Genesys, 8x8, Vonage, or similar) Troubleshoot voice quality and connectivity issues Security & Patch Management Apply Windows OS and third‑party application patches Monitor patch compliance and remediate gaps Follow vulnerability remediation procedures as directed Desktop Support & Documentation Provide in‑person and remote desktop support to end users Log, track, and resolve tickets in Jira Service Desk Maintain accurate technical documentation in Confluence Follow and contribute to IT runbooks and knowledge base articles Required Qualifications 3–5 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or systems administration Working familiarity with Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) Experience with Intune or a similar MDM platform Experience with Jamf or a similar Mac/iOS management platform Understanding of core networking concepts: DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP Exposure to enterprise firewalls (Sophos, SonicWall, Fortinet, or similar) Exposure to managed network switches Familiarity with SSO applications and SCIM provisioning concepts Hands‑on desktop and laptop hardware troubleshooting skills Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint) Experience with, or willingness to learn, Power Apps and Power Automate workflows Experience using a ticketing system (Jira Service Desk, ServiceNow, Zendesk, or similar) Experience maintaining documentation in Confluence or a similar wiki platform Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to apply critical thinking and available resources to troubleshoot issues quickly and accurately A proactive approach to IT infrastructure and issues, rather than a reactive one Preferred Qualifications Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Experience with cloud‑based phone systems (Genesys, 8x8, Vonage, or similar) Basic PowerShell scripting ability CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ certification Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) or Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD-102) Jamf Certified Associate Experience with Azure virtual machine administration and infrastructure What We Offer Compensation: $43.27/hr - $50.48/hr (equivalent to $90k-$105k annualized) Robust health insurance including individual and family Medical, Dental and Vision Relax and recharge with Paid Time Off (PTO) Program; plus 10 paid holidays Financial health with 401(k) programs and employer match Internet reimbursement - $40 per month Take care of your emotional, physical, and financial wellbeing with access to EAP We invest in your future through ongoing learning and development resources Save on taxes with Flexible Spending or Health Savings Accounts Peace of mind with Life and AD&D Insurance Discounts for shopping at various retailers EasyPay is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
