Assoc Business Development Director - Safety Solutions

This role drives sales growth for safety and regulatory solutions within the life sciences sector. The associate director manages full-cycle business development activities, from prospect identification through deal closure, while collaborating with subject matter experts and professional services teams. Requires 6+ years selling professional services to pharmaceutical, biotech, or clinical research organizations, bachelor's degree, and willingness to travel up to 50% across the US.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and identify new accounts within Safety and Regulatory products and services market
• Execute full sales cycle from target identification through deal closure and SOW management
• Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts to generate recurring and incremental business
• Manage RFI/RFP processes, negotiate terms, and coordinate with subject matter experts and Professional Services
• Stay current on regulatory guidelines and industry changes affecting pharma and biotech sectors

Requirements

• 6+ years selling professional services to pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or clinical research organizations
• Full sales cycle experience: prospecting, opportunity identification, proposal writing, negotiation, closing
• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Willingness to travel up to 50% throughout the US
• Residency in Greater Boston, NY/NJ, VA/DC metro, or CA areas

Compensation: $89,900.00 - $250,400.00 base
