Key Account (Outside Sales) Executive, Central Illinois

Labcorp seeks a Key Account Executive for outside sales in Central Illinois. The role involves managing and growing a territory across Springfield, Champaign, Danville and surrounding areas, serving healthcare providers and identifying new business opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Educate, instruct and upsell assigned and newly generated accounts across territory
- Act as liaison between clients and Labcorp operations team regarding client needs
- Provide ongoing service, problem resolution and superior customer service to retain accounts
- Recommend client-focused solutions and manage day-to-day account operations
- Meet and exceed monthly retention and upsell goals
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years outside sales or account management experience preferred
- Proven track record managing a book of business
- Strong customer service skills and ability to build trust-based relationships
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to travel overnight as needed, up to 25%
Compensation: $60,000 - $75,000 base salary plus commission
