Strategic Sourcing Manager

One of the largest technology companies in Atlanta Georgia are seeking a motivated Strategic Sourcing Manager to be onsite 2 days a week who is passionate about driving efficiency and cost savings through effective sourcing strategies. Looking for those with a strong background in procurement and a proven track record of successful sourcing/procurement and negotiation experience. You are the relationship owner between the customer and some of our suppliers. You will be responsible for suppliers and stakeholders by supporting the end-to-end sourcing projects, including market research, Request for Proposal (RFP) development, and vendor evaluation, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Responsibilities:
Supplier Relationship Management: Maintain active engagement with a portfolio of suppliers to monitor performance, manage contractual obligations, and identify opportunities for value creation.
Operational Excellence: Drive efficiency in sourcing processes by leveraging internal tools and best practices to streamline procurement workflows.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders (e.g., Finance, Legal, Engineering) to define sourcing requirements and ensure compliance with the customers procurement policies.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze spend data, market trends, and supplier performance metrics to provide actionable insights that support informed decision-making.
Based off of years of experience the hourly expectation for the role is $27.50/hr

Required Skills & Experience

1. At least 2 years experience sourcing / buying Professional services
2. Familiar with Statement of Work
3. Ability to demonstrate core foundational skills in the following areas: data management, presentation, and effective communications
4. Experience with procurement-related software tools
