Your Role in Safety & Service: Safety First: Enforce range rules rigorously, ensuring a safe, family-friendly environment. Customer Excellence: Interact with diverse shooters, providing courteous service at our high-volume, 67-table range. Operational Support: Maintain the range, assist in, set up competitions, and support staff, ensuring premium conditions. What We Are Looking For: Safety Mindset: Unwavering commitment to enforcing strict, fair range safety protocols. Customer Experience: High-energy, courteous team player with experience in fast-paced environments. Hard Worker: Ability to work outdoors (heat, cold, wind, dust) and handle physical tasks (sweeping, cleaning). Flexibility: Availability for a rotating schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Requirements: Valid Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card. Must legally be able to possess a firearm under 18 U.S. Code § 922(g). Pass a pre-employment medical exam (includes blood lead/zinc, hearing test) Job Duties: - Observes public shooting and ensures a safe and family-friendly range experience for all customers.

• Provides excellent and courteous customer service. Performs daily maintenance tasks to include emptying trash cans, sweeping brass, and assisting in the care of landscape and other facility maintenance/custodial duties.
• Assists range staff in set-up and preparation of the ranges, introductory shooting programs, shooting competitions, and other shooting sports activities throughout the season.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs): The candidate must have exceptional customer service and communication skills and have the ability to interact and work with a diverse variety of customers, user groups, and employees. The candidate must have a safety mindset and be prepared to enforce range safety rules equally at all times. Selective Preference(s): The ideal candidate will have customer service experience in a high-volume, high-stress environment. Pre-Employment Requirements: Position requires possession of and the ability to retain a current, valid state-issued driver’s license appropriate to the assignment. A level 1 fingerprint clearance card is required. Must be able to legally possess a firearm in accordance with 18 U.S. Code § 922(g). Employment is contingent upon completion of a post-offer medical/physical examination and the agency’s ability to reasonably accommodate any restrictions. Medical/Physical examination will include baseline blood lead and zinc levels and a baseline hearing test, all of which will be monitored on an annual basis. Driver’s License Requirements.
