Clinical Research Coordinator II (Hybrid) - School of Public Health

Position Summary A qualified individual is needed for a full‑time position with the Health Design and Impact Lab at the School of Public Health. This individual will spend the majority of their time assisting in projects funded by the National Heart Lung and Blood Institute, National Cancer Institute, the American Heart Association, and others. The projects focus on promoting health using technology and implementation science and are conducted primarily with clinical partners, with occasional collaboration with community partners. This role will work as part of a team and individually to perform duties and responsibilities required to meet project needs. Primary responsibilities for this position include managing and assisting in the day‑to‑day activities of studies and the research lifecycle, including clinical trial implementation, data collection and analyses, and development of grants, reports and other products. Scheduled Hours 37.5 hours per week. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Coordinate components of project plans. Make decisions regarding planning and implementation of project plans. Assist with regulatory requirements and reporting. Develop study protocols, data collection instruments, recruitment materials, and other research forms. Collect, manage, and support analysis of qualitative and quantitative data. Recruit and retain project participants. Collaborate with clinical partners in the development and implementation of protocols. Actively disseminate project findings: prepare summaries, present at scientific conferences, and participate in manuscript preparation. Contribute to major sections or develop whole products as a result of project plans. Hire, oversee, and provide day‑to‑day management and guidance for research assistants and other research staff. Maintain regular communication with and among PI, project consultants, and other investigators. Perform other duties as assigned. Working Conditions Hybrid work environment, primarily in an office setting at the School of Public Health in the Duncan building, with one to two days per week working remotely in St. Louis. Weekly required work/meetings in office setting at the School of Public Health on the Duncan and Danforth Campus. Occasional domestic travel; may travel out of state one to two times per year. Typically sitting at desk or table. Office equipment as needed. Education Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and/or experience may substitute for minimum education. Certifications / Professional Licenses Basic Life Support – American Heart Association and American Red Cross (must be obtained within one month of hire date). Work Experience Clinical Research – 2 years. Skills Clinical Research, Clinical Study Protocols, Database Management, Research Projects, Spreadsheet Analysis, Statistical Analysis Software (SAS). Driver's License A driver's license is not required for this position. Grade & Salary Range Grade C10 – $52,600.00 to $78,900.00 annually.
