Experienced Service Advisor

Service Advisor PositionJohnson City Acura/Mazda is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to provide exceptional customer service and support to our valued clients. As a key member of our dealership team, the Service Advisor will be responsible for assisting customers with their automotive service needs, maintaining customer satisfaction, and promoting service sales.This is a full-time, individual contributor role in Johnson City, Tennessee with a salary range of $75,000 to $85,000 per year, paid biweekly.Compensation & Benefits:Salary range of $75,000 to $85,000 per year, paid biweeklyComprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holiday pay401(k) retirement planEmployee discounts on vehicle purchases, parts, and serviceOngoing training and development opportunitiesResponsibilities:Greet customers and schedule service appointments in a friendly and professional mannerListen to and understand customer's automotive concerns and accurately document informationClearly explain service recommendations and any necessary repairs to customersAccurately estimate repair costs for customers and obtain necessary approvalsCommunicate with technicians and ensure timely completion of service workKeep customers informed of any delays or changes to service timelinesConduct follow-up calls and emails to ensure customer satisfactionPromote additional service sales and upsell maintenance packages to customersHandle customer inquiries and complaints with tact and professionalismMaintain a clean and organized service areaAdhere to all dealership policies and proceduresMeet and exceed customer satisfaction and sales goalsRequirements:High school diploma or equivalent, some post-secondary education preferredMinimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Service Advisor in an automotive dealershipProficient computer and technology skillsStrong customer service, communication, and sales skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentOutstanding organizational and time management skillsKnowledge of automotive maintenance and repairs, with ASE certification preferredMust have a valid driver's license with a clean driving recordMust be able to pass a background check and drug screeningMust be available to work weekends and some evenings as neededEEOC Statement: Johnson City Acura/Mazda is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
