Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract opportunity spans the entire upcoming school year, offering the chance to support K-12 students across four buildings as a dedicated district-wide Occupational Therapist.

Your schedule will be consistent, with full-time hours (35-37.5 per week) beginning in late August and extending through mid-June. As an integral part of a multidisciplinary school team, you’ll play a crucial role in helping students achieve their fullest potential, both academically and in their daily school routines.

Qualifications:

• Valid Vermont Occupational Therapy Certificate required
• Previous experience as a school-based Occupational Therapist preferred
• Strong skills in evaluation, planning, and implementing individualized OT interventions
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, support staff, families, and administrators
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Comfortable working with a diverse K-12 population across multiple locations

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive OT services to students in grades K-12
• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Help students develop, recover, or maintain the skills necessary for classroom participation
• Consult and collaborate with teachers and staff to support accessible learning environments
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
• Deliver services across four school buildings to ensure support is district-wide
