About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its Executive Leadership Team. The CFO will be a strategic, mission-driven leader responsible for providing financial guidance that aligns with the organization's mission and ensures long-term financial health and sustainability. This role involves overseeing all financial functions, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cash management, investments, internal controls, audit, and tax compliance. The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO, Board of Directors, and Finance Committee to develop and execute financial strategies that support the organization's growth and strengthen its performance. Candidates for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, a minimum of 10 years of financial leadership experience, and a strong knowledge of GAAP, nonprofit accounting, and financial management. The role requires exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership skills, as well as the ability to present complex financial information to diverse audiences. A CPA designation is strongly preferred, and experience with a multi-site nonprofit organization and grant accounting is a plus. The CFO will also be responsible for leading the Finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, and ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
