Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for oncology patients in an outpatient clinic setting, following established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; delegate tasks as appropriate.
- Coordinate care with physicians, pharmacists, social workers, and other disciplines, using critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making.
- Monitor patient status, administer medications and treatments as ordered, and document care in the electronic health record.
- Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment plans, and expected outcomes; ensure safety and adherence to infection control and quality guidelines.
- Contribute to care planning and discharge planning, collaborating with the broader care team to optimize patient outcomes.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California
- Oncology nursing experience preferred; outpatient clinic or hospital-based oncology exposure is relevant
- Ability to work 4x10-hour day shifts as part of a travel assignment
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills
