Headquartered in Austin, TX, DFS has a significant technology development and manufacturing presence worldwide, including facilities in Brazil, China, India, Italy, Poland, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and the United States.Position SummaryPerforms material handling tasks in the warehouse / production environments, including but not limited to maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory. Prepares stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product maintaining an environment that sets a high expectation on safety and quality.Major ResponsibilitiesPick inventory items to support internal / external customer ordersPack customer orders for domestic and international air, ground, and ocean shipmentProcurement and delivery of parts within the Manufacturing areaEnsure proper and accurate accounting of all receipts and inventories and reconcile as necessaryEnsure all available orders are shipped / delivered based on daily basis scheduled.Identify, register and inform to immediate leader any kind of non-conformity in the material received or in handling process.Committed to performing job duties with safety & quality in mind, as well as execute housekeeping in your daily activities to have a consistently manufacturing well-being environmentUnderstanding of delivery and shipping documents, i.e. pick list, packing list, bill of lading and making sure matches materialInvestigate, address and resolve delays in 2 Bin part delivery to operator work stationsPartner with Warehouse Team to resolve replenishment issuesOrder low use parts or special parts per broadcast report.Ensure accurate delivery of parts from STK and proper delivery to work station with Dispenser Identification as requiredEnsure proper and accurate accounting of all material and inventoriesAssist in daily Tugger operations as requiredAssists in performing cycle counts as required, complete Inventory Verification forms as requiredQualifications / RequirementsAbility to read and understand working instructions Ability to communicate effectively and follow both verbal and written instructions High level of accuracy; keen attention to detail Ability and willingness to stand for a minimum of 10 hours per day, and lift up to 40lbs unassisted as required Basic PC skills and ability to navigate programs used by the Company for training and/or communication purposes Familiarity with Engineering Drawings is preferable Familiarity with Wiring Assembly Processes is preferable Prior experience in Warehouse job activities is preferableAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, disability, age, genetic information, or any other factors prohibited by law.
