Job Duties – What You Will Achieve

• Conduct routine and specialized clinical lab tests—chemistry, hematology, immunology, and additional areas—as per established guidelines.
• Evaluate test results for precision, troubleshoot inconsistencies, and ensure proper maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist in the collection of samples and prepare them for analysis as necessary.
• Document all processes diligently, support the training of new staff or students, and maintain high lab quality standards.
• Keep a clean and safe working environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, in addition to ASCP/AMT certification readiness.

Required Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Maintain active certification throughout the entirety of your employment.
