Job Description

Key Qualifications:

• Masters or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
• Valid Florida Department of Health Physical Therapist license
• Experience working with school-aged populations (PreK-12 preferred)
• Ability to adapt therapy plans for varied age groups and needs
• Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills
• Completion of required fingerprinting and credentialing through AHCA Clearinghouse or eligibility for verification/transfer as outlined
• Flexibility for travel between multiple campuses

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy services and consultations for students with physical needs
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, special educators, administration, and families to support student access and progress
• Attend team meetings, contribute to IEP processes, and maintain thorough documentation
• Travel between multiple school sites within the district as assigned
• Engage in professional development to stay current with best practices in school-based physical therapy
