Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor

Position: Full-Time | 1 Opening

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to support a busy manufacturing operation. This position is responsible for keeping production machinery, automated equipment, and plant support systems operating safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience maintaining industrial manufacturing equipment. You will work closely with production, quality, materials, and other support teams to address equipment issues, reduce downtime, and keep manufacturing operations moving.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inspect production machinery and plant equipment to identify mechanical, electrical, and operational issues.
2. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) and maintain working knowledge of production equipment and operating systems.
3. Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a variety of industrial equipment, including:
   1. Hydraulic presses
   2. Robotics and automated systems
   3. Assembly machinery
   4. Boilers
   5. Compressors
   6. Water softeners
   7. General plant support equipment
4. Diagnose equipment failures and determine the appropriate repair or maintenance solution.
5. Perform mechanical troubleshooting involving hydraulics and pneumatics.
6. Use electrical meters and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot electrical problems.
7. Perform welding, soldering, and brazing as required.
8. Assist with robotic and PLC-related troubleshooting and maintenance.
9. Complete major equipment repairs and coordinate with outside contractors when specialized service is required.
10. Operate forklifts or other material-handling equipment when necessary.
11. Maintain an organized, clean, and safe maintenance area in accordance with 5S standards.
12. Work closely with production and other departments to respond to equipment issues and minimize downtime.
13. Work independently while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and equipment reliability.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
2. 2–5 years of manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience.
3. Strong hands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
4. Experience with 480 VAC three-phase electrical systems.

1. Hydraulics
2. Pneumatics
3. Boilers
4. Compressors
5. Industrial machinery
6. Automated manufacturing equipment
7. Experience with robotics and PLC systems/programming.
8. Ability to read and understand equipment manuals, technical instructions, and written procedures.
9. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with production and maintenance teams.
10. Basic mathematical skills, including whole numbers, fractions, decimals, ratios, rates, and percentages.
11. Comfortable using computers and Microsoft Office applications.
12. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
13. Ability to work with minimal supervision and take ownership of maintenance assignments.
14. Must provide and maintain required personal hand tools.

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate is a hands-on maintenance professional who can quickly identify equipment problems, determine the root cause, and complete quality repairs. Experience in automated manufacturing, electrical troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial equipment maintenance will be highly valuable in this role.
