Responsibilities

• Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
• Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.
• Performs ongoing assessment of patient status, responds to changes, and documents vitals, interventions, and outcomes.
• Administers medications and treatments per orders, ensuring safety and accuracy.
• Participates in multidisciplinary rounds and discharge planning to optimize patient flow and outcomes.

Requirements

• Current, unrestricted California RN license.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (RN) and active licensure.
• Ability to work nights and navigate a fast-paced ER environment.
• Willingness to participate in a travel assignment and comply with credentialing processes.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with the ED team.
