Small NYC business management firm seeks an experienced senior accountant for long-term position. The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive, forward-facing, and needs little handholding. Must have experience compiling and preparing financial data, as well as entering on tax forms for both personal and corporate returns.

This is a role based on meticulous financial recordkeeping for tax preparation...includes maintaining and updating financial records, precise data entry, bank account reconciliation, P&L reporting, budgeting, and comparing financial records. The candidate must be able to prepare tax returns for corporations and partnerships, and handle and manage Schedule C and K-1s. Enrolled Agent preferred.

Hourly rate commensurate with experience, but excellent!

Skills required : Microsoft Office, Excel (intermediate), working knowledge of CCH Axcess tax software. QuickBooks Desktop & Online, XERO accounting software a plus. Must be a self-directed, analytical thinker. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Outgoing demeanor a must.
