About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Corporate Communications to play a pivotal role in the strategic management of stakeholder outreach within a highly regulated consumer product category. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive communication strategies that align with the company's mission and support its initiatives in the face of complex public health and regulatory challenges. This senior leadership position demands a strategic communicator with a minimum of 10 years' professional experience, particularly in industries involving highly regulated consumer products. Key responsibilities include monitoring and interpreting relevant political, scientific, and regulatory developments, building and managing relationships with media outlets, influencers, and government communicators, and ensuring consistent and effective messaging across all external communications. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in media relations, a deep understanding of regulatory frameworks, and the ability to lead a high-performing communications team. They must possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex scientific and regulatory information into clear, compelling narratives. The role also requires a leader with executive presence, the ability to influence cross-functional teams, and a strong focus on risk and reputation management.
