Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN - PCU/IMC/Stepdown to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide intermediate care for patients in a 30-bed unit, maintaining a focus on high-quality service.
• Manage patient ratios, typically 1:5, ensuring safe patient assignments and efficient care delivery.
• Titrate and monitor drips including Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Heparin, ensuring accurate dosing and patient safety.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, clinical assistants, and respiratory therapists.
• Accurately interpret and manage telemonitor data and provide appropriate interventions when necessary.
• Adhere to facility protocols for patient rotation, shift scheduling, and handling sensitive medical equipment.

Qualifications

• Current RN license with ability to practice in West Virginia.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in an Intermediate Care Unit or similar setting.
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required.
• Proficiency with EMR systems such as Sunrise or EPIC.
• Strong ability to interpret cardiac strips independently.
• Flexibility in working rotating shifts including weekends and holidays as needed.
