Job Description Job Description ThehotelDirectorofCateringisastrategicexecutiveresponsiblefordrivingfood,beverage,andeventrevenue.Theyoverseethecateringsalesteam,negotiatecontracts,andcollaboratecloselywithculinaryandbanquetoperationstoensureflawlessexecutionofweddings,corporatemeetings,andsocialevents. Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 yearly Responsibilities: Sales&RevenueGeneration: Proactivelysolicitandbookevents,conductclientsitetours,andclosehigh-valuecontractstoconsistentlymeetorexceedaggressiverevenuetargets. EventDetailing&Logistics: Managetheend-to-endeventprocess,includingcreatingBanquetEventOrders(BEOs),designingfloorplans,planningmenuswiththeExecutiveChef,anddetailingbilling. TeamLeadership: Recruit,train,andmentorthecateringsalesandconventionservicesteamtofosterahigh-performance,customer-focusedculture. Cross-DepartmentCollaboration: Actastheliaisonbetweentheclientandtheculinary,banquet,frontdesk,andhousekeepingteamstoensureseamlesseventexecutionandhighguestsatisfaction. Budgeting&Forecasting: Developdepartmentalbudgets,monitoreventexpenses,andprovideweekly/monthlyforecastingreportsforhotelleadership. Qualifications: Education: Abachelor’sdegreeinHospitalityManagement,BusinessAdministration,orarelatedfield. Experience: 3ormoreyearsofprogressiveexperienceincateringsales,eventplanning,oradirector-levelrolewithinafull-servicehotel,resort,orconventionsetting. SystemSkills: Proficiencyinindustry-standardcateringandsalessoftware. SoftSkills: Exceptionalnegotiation,communication,andproblem-solvingskills.Musthavetheflexibilitytoworkevenings,weekends,andholidaysasbusinessneedsdictate.
