Job Overview The Volunteer and Community Partner is responsible for processing volunteer and mentor applications while supporting the planning and execution of volunteer events and communications. The role collaborates with coworkers and agency staff to ensure effective communication, coordination, and problem‑solving across all volunteer initiatives. As an integrated health organization, Acenda values the use of evidence‑based practice (EBP). Program Info Family Success Centers are community‑based, family‑centered neighborhood gathering places where community residents engage in support, interactive workshops, activities, and groups. They provide a space for volunteers to build community capacity and strengthen relationships among families and neighborhoods. All services are free and open to all families in the community. Key Responsibilities Process volunteer and mentor applications Assist in planning and executing volunteer special events and communications Collaborate with coworkers and agency staff to communicate effectively and solve problems Requirements Associate’s degree with relevant experience Valid driver’s license, insured vehicle, and acceptable driving record Ability to exercise independent thinking and good judgment in all circumstances Capacity to analyze work, set goals, develop plans and utilize time effectively and efficiently Additional Information Base rate: $18.27 per hour. Sign‑on bonus: $500. Bilingual rate: an additional $1.50 added to the base rate if Spanish proficient. Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 9‑5; Thursday 11‑7; some Saturdays.
